Description
Formulation
Each gram of Clozin 3P powder contains 300mg of Sulfaclozine Sodium Monohydrate.
Indication
This product is useful for treatment of coccidiosis due to various Eimeria such as encatrix, maxima, acervulina, brunetti, tenella, praecox, adenoides, meleagrimitis, and, Salmonellosis due to Salmonella gallinarum, S.pullorum, S. enteritidis, S.typhimurium and Pasteurellosis (fowl cholera). This is also effective on coccidiosis in calf, lamb, and rabbit.
Dosage and Administration
Poultry: Dissolve 1g per liter of water. This provides approximately 50 mg active ingredient or 170 mg Clozin 3P per kg bodyweight.

Sheep and Goats: 120 mg Sulfaclozine per kg body weight. Dissolve 4 grams in 1 liter drinking water and administer 12 mL each for 10 kg body weight.
Withdrawal Period
Meat (Broiler, Pullets, Turkey): 14 days
Egg: 11 days
Precautions
- Do not use more or less than levels of recommended dosage.
- For use in drinking water, prepare fresh water daily.
- Avoid underdosing and overdosing. Overdosing in chicks may cause bleeding which should be treated with Vitamin K
- Clozin 3P powder should be used in pre-laying period for laying hens and between 2-5 week old for broilers.
Caution
No dispensing of the product is allowed without a prescription of a duly licensed veterinarian.
Storage
Store between 15°C – 30°C in a dry place. Protect from light, heat, and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
