Trisulfa

Trisulfa (Trimethoprim + Sulfamethoxazole) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that can treat the following:

• Infections of the respiratory tract
• Gastro-intestinal infections
• Systemic infections
• Salmonella and Colibacillosis

The combination of Trimethoprim and Sulfa give an in unison bactericidal broad-spectrum effect. Both antibiotics intervene in different ways. This combination is active against gram-positive, gram-negative bacteria (like staphylococci and streptococci) and E.coli, Salmonella and Coccidiosis.
